Road Trip Part 2: Pullman

On our second part of our road trip we headed to Pullman for the 4th of July!  While living in Pullman my dad would come over for a few days and spend the 4th with us.  We would go to the Johnson Parade, Jeff & Jenny's BBQ and of course Sunnyside Park for the 4th of July fireworks. This was one of the traditions we new we would miss about Pullman, but thankfully it worked out for us to participate in this tradition for at least one more year.

Road Trip Part 1: Spokane

In early July the kids, my dad and I crammed all of our stuff into my car and headed on a road trip to Spokane.  Kent's best friend Jason and his family were visiting from Alabama and it had been 1-2 years since we had seen them so I thought why not take my 1 1/2 month old and my 2 year old on a 6 hour road trip (which with two young kids actually takes 7-8 hours).  Well to my surprise the kids did amazing until the last 30 minutes or so.  I don't think it would have gone as smoothly if my dad had not been with me and thankfully it worked out that Kent would be able to meet us in Spokane on his way to Colorado for a visit as well.  Even though it was extremely hot and a long drive it was worth it to see our friends and their kids.  We definitely miss having them close by for weekend visits and camping trips.

Meet N Greet

After Mommy, Daddy, Emma and Cole got settled at home Grandma Kathy put together a Meet N Greet for family and friends to meet Cole.  The theme was inspired by one of Mommy's favorite books The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Bradley Babies

After all of the Bradley babies were born we thought we should get together for a Bradley meet n greet before some of the Bradley families moved.  All but one of the Bradley babies was able to make it and one was still taking comfort in his mommy's tummy.

Well Emma is not a Bradley baby, but she is a Bradley big sister so she gets to join in! :)

All Comers Track Meet

During my fist visit to MOPS I found out about the All Comers Track Meet in Burlington, WA. This even is put on by the Parks and Rec department for kids and adults of all ages.  There are a variety of track events that families get to participate in.

Father's Day 2013

This year we spent Father's Day with Kent's family in Olympia.  It was the first time his family met Cole and it was opening day of the Grunenfelder pool.  Emma had a blast swimming with her cousins, papa and grandma.  Cole was still a little new to be swimming, but he enjoyed all of the hugs and kisses from his aunts and uncles.

Look how happy our little fish is.  I am amazed at how much she loves the water!
