Happy Halloween

Now that Emma is 3 going on 4 she definitely has her own opinions of what she wants to wear. This is one battle I have chosen to bow out of accept for this years Halloween costume. I new Emma would want to dress as Elsa, but mommy really wanted to try and save some money on costumes. Emma already had a beautiful Tinkerbell costume and I found a really cute DIY peter pan costume. It took a little convincing, but Emma ended up loving the idea of dressing as Tinkerbell and Cole as peter pan. Both kiddos were adorable and we had lots of fun coordinating with the Davis boys in our peter pan theme.

It was a little windy, but that didn't stop Tinkerbell from flying!

Carving our PERFECT Pumpkins

After our fun adventures at the pumpkin patch we thought we should carve our PERFECT pumpkins with the Davis family. Emma and Micah were not fans of the slimy pumpkin insides so the adults did most of the cleaning and carving of the pumpkins. Cole however absolutely loved the slimy mess and couldn't resist eating it.

Best Friends

Our family met Eric and Molly Davis in 2008/2009. I (Chelsea) worked with Molly and had met her on a women's retreat a year or so before we began working with each other. It is amazing how God knows exactly who to bring into your life. As the years of gone by both of our families have grown and our first borns have also become good friends. They are so fun to watch and listen to as they play and interact with each other. I pray that Emma and Micah's friendship will continue to grow and become a life long friendship.

The PERFECT Pumpkin

While we have been in California we have been able to spend lots of time with our friends Eric and Molly! We have definitely missed our weekly dinner and movies nights with the Davis family. Emma has also thoroughly enjoyed playing with Micah. We are truly amazed at how good of friends they have become during our short time here. We are so happy to be able to make some memories with this wonderful family before we continue our journey somewhere else. One of our first adventures here in California was a trip to the pumpkin patch. We had tons of fun riding the hay ride, learning how pumpkins grow and of course picking out the PERFECT pumpkin.
